A British Stage, Film and Television actor, Danny Webb's first credited appearance onscreen was in 'The Racing Game', part of the Dick Francis thriller series, in 1979. Since then, he has developed an impressive list of roles, including playing Pablo Picasso in two episodes of Lucasfilm's 'The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles', a recurring role in celebrated mini-series 'Our Friends in the North' - a decades spanning BBC drama renowned for bringing actors Daniel Craig, Christopher Eccleston and Mark Strong to wider attention, and the two part David Tennant era Doctor Who story 'The Satan Pit' and 'The Impossible Planet'.

Danny has also made multiple appearances as different characters in longer running British dramas, including two appearances in 'A Touch of Frost', starring David Jason, two appearances in 'Casualty', two appearances in 'Midsomer Murders', and an incredible seven different characters in 'The Bill' over a period of twenty years. Prior to his appearance as DI Carter in 'Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia', Webb portrayed Inspector Lestrade in the 2002 BBC production of 'The Hound of the Baskervilles.'

On the big screen, Danny Webb is perhaps most recognisable for his prominent casting in 'Alien 3' (1992), as well as appearing in Kenneth Branagh's celebrated production of 'Henry V' (1989), and 'Valkryie' (2008), starring Tom Cruise.
