Jaye Griffiths trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in Central London. He most recognisable role was as Ros Henderson in the BBC Saturday tea time drama 'Bugs', which ran from 1995 to 1999. The series is famous for its final cliffhanger in the series four finale that was never resolved due to cancellation by the BBC.

Jaye has numerous other credits in British crime and medical dramas, including a long running role in 'The Bill' between 1993 and 2003; and parts in 'Casualty', 'Peak Practice', 'Criminal Justice'(2008), and 'Silent Witness' between 2008 and 2011. Most recently she has appeared as a QC in British soap opera 'Coronation Street', and the prosecution barrister against James Moriarty in 'Sherlock: The Reichenbach Fall' (2012).
