In ancient Jewish folklore, a Golem is a creature resembling a man, crafted from mud or clay by a person of power, and brought to life. Initially created to protect those that made it from harm, and depending on the version of the tale you are told, the Golem becomes a mute and unstoppable engine of vengeance, carrying out it’s instruction to the letter and killing all who would stand before it.

The professional name chosen by Oscar Dzundza, a mysterious contract killer, is thus not without irony. Hired by Jim Moriarty, The Golem is an imposing bald man, striking from the shadows with an absolute silence and surprising speed that belie his huge size. Preferring to use his physical advantage to simply smother his victims with his gigantic palms, the hitman has never failed – until an encounter with Sherlock Holmes and Doctor John Watson rendered them the only souls to ever escape his literal clutches.

A master at evasion and concealment despite his seven foot tall frame, The Golem remains at large, and was last known to be living rough in the bowels of London, before fleeing for places unknown…
