London Chinatown

27 Gerrard St
London, W1D 5QJ

Established around Gerrard Street in Soho during the 1970s, London's Chinatown bursts with colour and diversity. Many traditional restaurants dot the area, including the Feng Shui Inn at the eastern entrance of Chinatown, as well as numerous souvenir shops - if you wanted to get hold of a Lucky Cat, this is the place to come.

Gerrard Street is the principal London location used onscreen in Sherlock, specifically the eastern end. Other Chinatown parts of the episode, including the Lucky Cat Emporium, were actually shot in Newport in Wales.
