With the BAFTA's now only a week away and only
a few days left to vote we thought it would be a good time to give
the #VoteSherlock4BAFTA campaign one last push.
Sherlock is up for The YouTube Audience Award, which
recognises the best programme of the last year and is the only
category to be voted for by the public. Sadly the Audience
Award vote is open to UK residents only.
We think it's a little unfair that only UK residents can vote in
the BAFTA 2012 YouTube Audience Award, and although we
understand why this is the case as a British Awards ceremony, we
know that many of you non Brits would still like
to help Sherlock win this award and show your
support.
You may have seen the "#VoteSherlock4Bafta Because…" poster
templates we created and many of you already contributed (check out
our Facebook Album of all your posters). We've
decide to step it up a gear and created a few more ways in which
you can not only show your support but also spread the word at the
same time.
First up we've created a special
#VoteSherlock4Bafta desktop wallpaper.

We've also created some special #VoteSherlock4Bafta 'Do Not
Disturb' signs for you to print and cut out.

Lastly we've created you your very own mini Sherlock and
John complete with a #VoteSherlock4Bafta poster card with
space for your own message which you can print out and put together
and stand proudly somewhere for all to see. We got the idea from
seeing these Fab Dirk
Gently ones on facebook (sadly we don't know who the
artist was to give credit to for the original template).

Please do take photos of your little Sherlock & Johns
holding your message, and if you find any fun door knob locations
to hang your 'Do Not Disturb' signs, again take a photo as we'd
love to see them. Any we spot, we'll collect and post as a gallery
on our FaceBook and Tumblr, with full credit to those who took
them. Remember to make sure you hashtag #VoteSherlock4Bafta on
Twitter and Tumblr in support of Sherlock so everyone can see
them.
If you live in the UK and haven't done so already you
can vote for Sherlock
here. Voting will close at 5pm (BST) on Thursday 24th May 2012
so you've only got a few days left! No votes will be accepted after
this time. The Audience Award will be presented at the Arqiva
British Academy Television Awards, Sunday 27th May on BBC One 8pm
(BST) and are hosted by Dara O'Briain.
