The lamp consists of a large numbers of ring-shaped, lacquered white discs which are suspended around the centrally located bulb. The fan-shaped discs hide the bulb and at the same time serve as reflectors, through which a soft light is spread throughout the room.

Material: solid-coloured white plastic; initially in lacquered white metal.

This floor lamp was designed after Verner Panton's pendant (originally designed in 1960 and manufactured by Louis Poulsen) also known as the "moon lamp" www.verner-panton.com

Unfortunately the floor version is quite elusive; while the original pendant model (now under brand name Verpan) is sold at many design and lighting shops, and cheap table lamps have been quite often available at various sites, there are still no clue as to any specific brand that manufactures the floor model.
