The distinctive teapot used in 221B is designed by Ali Miller and sold exclusively by Rockett St George. Depicting an accurate yet stylized and nostalgic hand printed map of the British Isles with ships sailing around, the teapot featured most prominently in the riveting exchange between Sherlock Holmes and Jim Moriarty in The Reichenbach Fall, causing it to sell out almost immediately afterwards.

The bone china teapot is still available from Rockett St George, but is handmade to order, and so can take up to six weeks to deliver.

Ali Miller produces extraordinary artworks informed by personal, ethical and artistic approaches to the idea of home.  Sourcing materials from her family's material traces of memories, Ali Miller's work is both an archive of and testimony to her childhood, culture and family history.
